Adem\u00e1s de brindar conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos para la instalaci\u00f3n, operaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento de proyectos de comunicaci\u00f3n, busca generar una red de personas que se acompa\u00f1an entre s\u00ed para fortalecer los caminos hacia la autonom\u00eda tecnol\u00f3gica en sus territorios.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este programa es resultado de un esfuerzo colectivo de organizaciones vinculadas con la comunicaci\u00f3n comunitaria e ind\u00edgena y la Uni\u00f3n Internacional de Telecomunicaciones (UIT), y tiene como base un proceso activo de reflexi\u00f3n sobre las tecnolog\u00edas, la formaci\u00f3n y los modos de vida propios de las comunidades a las que va dirigido.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hasta el momento, cuenta con dos ediciones presenciales en M\u00e9xico (realizadas entre 2016 y 2019) y cuatro ediciones latinoamericanas, realizadas en formato h\u00edbrido entre 2020 y 2023, en las que han participado m\u00e1s de 200 personas de 14 pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las tem\u00e1ticas que incluye el programa tienen una dimensi\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica, como electricidad y electr\u00f3nica b\u00e1sicas, uso de software libre o el funcionamiento de las redes de Internet, pero tambi\u00e9n se incluyen elementos sociales, econ\u00f3micos y pol\u00edticos, como el an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edtico de las tecnolog\u00edas y su selecci\u00f3n, el marco legal de las telecomunicaciones o la sostenibilidad de proyectos de comunicaci\u00f3n
