Pengembangan sekolah dimulai dari konsolidasi komite penasihat yang dibentuk oleh organisasi peserta program pelatihan dan para ahli di bidang teknis, ekonomi, dan sosial yang terkait dengan jaringan komunitas. Selama lebih dari satu tahun, Tanda bersama komite ini, mendefinisikan karakteristik, isi, dan metodologi program. Selama kurun waktu tersebut, berbagai kegiatan, kunjungan dan eksplorasi dikembangkan untuk memungkinkan tim memilih organisasi lokal yang akan diajak bekerja sama.<br> \n<br><\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cnlearning.apc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/photo_2023-05-06-17.48.10.jpeg\" width=\"50%\" style=\"float: left; margin: 3px 20px 0 0\">\n<p>\nSetelah organisasi lokal dipilih, kegiatan refleksi diadakan di Kilifi pada bulan Desember 2021, di mana anggota komite penasihat dan organisasi lokal berpartisipasi, untuk menetapkan prinsip-prinsip dasar sekolah.<br>\n<br>\nSekolah ini mengadakan pertemuan tatap muka pertama pada tanggal 28 Februari hingga 4 Maret 2022 di Kisumu. Sebanyak 21 peserta dari tujuh komunitas menjalani pelatihan tentang infrastruktur dan layanan jaringan, kebijakan dan peraturan, serta cara-cara untuk mencapai keberlanjutan.\n<br>\n<br>\nSejak sekolah ini diluncurkan, Tanda telah memberikan bimbingan virtual kepada para peserta di tiga sektor khusus, yang disebut Communities of Practice: <strong>Infrastruktur Jaringan, Keberlanjutan dan Pengembangan Konten Lokal.<\/strong> Selain bimbingan virtual, model yang mereka pilih mencakup bimbingan tatap muka di masing-masing wilayah dan dukungan desain khusus untuk setiap kasus.<br>\n<br>\nPada bulan November 2022, sebuah pertemuan tatap muka baru dengan semua peserta sekolah diselenggarakan dan tujuh komunitas menerima dana proyek hibah mikro untuk tahap implementasi.
