This report examines the role of ICTs and the Internet in promoting gender equality, exploring how access to technology can address the inequalities faced by women and girls. It analyzes the gender gap in ICT access, highlighting that two-thirds of the world’s population without regular Internet access are women. It addresses the importance of closing the ICT skills gap to access higher-paying jobs.
