In this paper, we reflect on how this partnership – in which indigenous peoples participate in all stages of the creation and implementation of the capacity-building program – has led to improved pedagogical processes and ways of learning that could be useful not only for other indigenous training programs but also for capacity-building processes of other kinds where community groups should be involved.
