Information and Communication Technology (ICT) accessibility ensures equal access to technology in an interconnected world. ICTs transform societies, but without accessibility, inclusivity suffers. Connectivity, involving infrastructure and affordability, is vital. National laws, policies, and regulations are necessary to ensure coverage, quality, and availability. Accessibility, relating to usable ICT experiences, is equally crucial. Laws and policies must ensure equal usability for all, regardless of gender, age, or ability. Harmonized standards are needed for interoperability, scalability, and affordability. The ITU\’s toolkit emphasizes ICT accessibility, recognizing its significance in building inclusive digital communities alongside connectivity, digital abilities, and affordability in digital inclusion efforts.
