Organisasi lokal yang berpartisipasi di sekolah dan dalam proses hibah mikro untuk mengimplementasikan proyek CN mereka

Led by Yayasan Jaringan Ruang Bersama, strengthens the Sekolah Internet Komunitas (SIK) strengthens the capacities of communities to design, deploy, and sustain community-led connectivity initiatives across Indonesia.

Since its launch in 2020, the programme has combined training of trainers, technical workshops, ongoing mentorship, peer learning, and territorial accompaniment to support community-based internet infrastructure. Training covers governance, technical deployment, local innovation, digital inclusion, and gender equality, following the programme's "5L" principle: low learning curve, low energy, low tech, low maintenance, and local support.

The School is closely linked to the Rural ICT Camp, an annual national gathering that brings together communities, civil society, government, academia, and the private sector. Since 2020, the event has expanded across different regions of Indonesia, combining technical capacity building, policy dialogue, digital literacy, and community innovation.

Building on the National School, Common Room continues to provide in-territory support, working directly with local organizations while strengthening partnerships with government institutions and universities to expand community-led connectivity initiatives.

Today, what began as a single National School has evolved into a broader capacity- building ecosystem. The programme now supports Indonesia's growing Community- Centred Connectivity Institutions (CCCI) movement, working alongside the Rembuk Nusa coalition and engaging with national ministries to strengthen policies and long-term support for community networks.
