Situating Network Infrastructure with People, Practices, and Beyond: A Community

This workshop brings together multidisciplinary researchers and implementers working on infrastructure development and connectivity. It addresses challenges and opportunities at the intersection of network infrastructure and human-computer interaction. It explores the influence of social and political factors on network construction and highlights the importance of alternative perspectives on network design. The workshop seeks to foster collaboration and share resources for rethinking network infrastructures from human, community and society-centered approaches.
